
Toyota have one of Australia’s largest advertising budgets. This is mostly spent with their preferred advertising agency in Sydney, but on occasions they choose to use Percept for both concept and design of press ad campaigns. Using Percept as a boutique creative agency on select projects adds variety of design style to their advertising.
The purpose of these ads that appeared in industrial publications was to focus on Toyota’s commitment to safety in its new line of forklifts.
We devised the crash test dummy character who evolved throughout the campaign by changing roles to illustrate different product safety benefits. The end results were very well received. Toyota’s corporate branding style was also adhered to in this design.
Percept Brand Design were also called upon by DAS as a Sydney creative agency for marketing brochures for Toyota, such as this one designed for their promotion with the Australian TV show The Block.
