Branding and design guidelines for Gambling Help, a service offered by the NSW Government Department, Office of Liquor Gaming and Racing.
Percept were chosen to design the visual branding for Gambling Help. This is a great community service offered by the NSW State Government which helps problem gamblers either by phone, online or face to face.
We initially created the logo design based around the idea of communication. Once this was focus group tested and approved, we developed the design guidelines which outline the correct usage of the logo so as to consistently brand the service as their logo will be used by many 3rd parties across the state.
Next step was to develop information brochures and posters to communicate the benefits of the service. It was important for the design of this collateral to feel approachable and non-judgemental for it to be successful.
In venue posters were designed for specific initiatives such as time out rooms and promotional material has been created for Responsible Gambling Week.
All Gambling Help items combine to make for a strong and recognisable visual brand, which is can be easily recalled and used when the time comes.
In a different style altogether, Percept designed a youth targeted brochure for a coaster design competition. This promotion encouraged teenagers to use the art and design skills to increase awareness about problem gambling in the community.
