Ashe Morgan Winthrop are the largest originators of commercial property finance in Australia. The finance sector is traditionally conservative in terms of design, whilst we did not want to move away from a look of stability, we intended to give them a slightly creative and more modern feel for the conservative look that is expected.

Based in the Sydney CBD, Ashe Morgan Winthrop invest in design when they brand a property development, create environmental signage to increase its exposure, proposal document layout and tender brochure design. Percept improve the impact of their presentations with the design of these corporate communications. The investment has been paying off for the AMW team and they have been enjoying an increased success rate for their bids, thanks to a little help from graphic design!

AMW also advertise their finance services in a Sydney auction house that sells high-end commercial property. Successful bidders will require finance to be arranged and they may not be decided on who they would call on to arrange this.

We were asked to conceptualise a corporate brochure design that would help sway those who had not made up their minds. We came up with the relax concept and the client loved it, but more importantly it worked for the target audience.

We were then briefed to design an ad campaign for this corporate client that would give potential customers a reason to contact them. We brainstormed many different concepts which were distilled down to a final few that ran as an ad campaign in newspapers throughout Australia’s capital cities.

The simple illustration style gave AMW a look that stood out from the clutter and effectively communicated their message. The idea was to present AMW as an approachable organisation. The ad campaign earned AMW returns multiple times the size of their graphic design investment.
