And with a whoosh, we find ourselves in May! We've been flat out here at Percept with exciting projects, talented additions to our team (welcome Hayley and Scott) and have found ourselves popping up in publications such as AdNews, The Leader and Packaging News Magazine.

 
 

Percept Rise To The Challenge

This year Rock Eisteddfod Challenge will see over 30,000 school students participate across Australia.

The event has over 25 years of history and Percept were again chosen as the designers to make this year look fresher and more exciting than the last.

We began with the poster design which is the flagship of REC's marketing material. The new design theme for 2008 is then rolled out into the event's program, certificates, t-shirts and TV motion graphics.

With the target audience of high school age, image is everything!

All the REC marketing material needs to be cool so the kids can relate to it and be attracted to participate.


 
 

Gettin' Booty On The Dancefloor

The Carmens website needed a revamp that would appeal to the market of 18-25 year olds.

A long standing icon of 'the shire', Carmens competes with many Sydney CBD based clubs for today's night-clubbing youth.

Percept relaunched their website which features Flash animated movement and a modern style in tune with what the target market likes.

The site also includes sounds from resident DJs so the user knows that the whole Carmens nightclub experience has been improved as well as the new website.

Clean Brand Packaging

Percept helped Electrolux Home Products launch their own brand of stainless steel appliance cleaning products.

Our design solution was purposefully simple using a blue background for good shelf blocking and establishing a strong link to Electrolux’s corporate image.

The overall design for the packaging is far removed from the dumbed down retail feel of similar products, appropriately positioning Electrolux as high quality products.

The new design has proved effective and consumers feel comfortable purchasing their cleaning products from a reputable brand name.
